Michigan budget includes $14M for ice storm recovery -- what to know

In just a few months, northern Michigan will be back in winter mode, even as crews continue cleaning up from the March ice storm. The good news is the 2026 budget includes $14 million to help with ice storm recovery.  DNR officials joined Local 4 Live to explain the new funding and winter preps.
