Plans underway to rebuild historic Belvedere Club after devastating fire

Michael Ricks, 44, has been charged with two felony counts of arson after a fire destroyed the historic Belvedere Club's casino building in Charlevoix Township. Originally built in 1922, the building served as the club's main dining facility. Despite the destruction, club leaders are hopeful about rebuilding and reopening the site by 2027.
