Woman shot by police after leading 2 chases, driving toward officers, authorities say

A woman is recovering after being shot during an altercation with Detroit police on Sunday. Police said she led officers on a chase twice before she was shot. It started with a traffic stop at 3 p.m. on Oct. 26 and ended at the Detroit police facility on Sherwood Street.
