Man barricades himself inside Livonia home, fires shots, police say

A man barricaded himself in a Livonia home on Wednesday and allegedly fired shots. Police were called to the home on Ann Arbor Trail near Wayne Road just before 10 a.m. on Oct. 29 for a welfare check. When they arrived, officers heard one or possibly two shots from the house. As of 4 p.m., the barricaded situation was still happening.
