Federal judges order Trump administration to continue SNAP funding

Two federal judges ruled the Trump administration must continue funding SNAP benefits, preventing a freeze that would have affected millions of families. The ruling allows use of emergency funds, including a $5 billion contingency fund and up to $23 billion in additional resources.
