‘Operation Cozy’ aims to bring warmth to Detroit’s most vulnerable children this winter

"Operation Cozy," part of Local 4's "Go 4 it" event, is a winter clothing drive aimed at helping Detroit's most vulnerable children. In partnership with the Center for Youth and Families, the event will collect winter gear at Kadesh Baptist Church on November 12, from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. The Center, serving communities like Detroit's west side, Hamtramck, and Highland Park, provides support services including therapy and food assistance, focusing on families facing challenges such as unemployment and educational disparities.
