Full presser: Houston man charged in Macomb County dealership murders
Terrance Jermain Sandles, a man from Houston, Texas, has been charged with multiple felonies, including two counts of first-degree murder, after allegedly shooting Marvan Batoo, the owner of Star Auto Sales in Shelby Township, and Ghaith Baban, during a dispute over a vehicle sale. The murders happened on November 7, with surveillance cameras reportedly capturing Sandles fleeing the scene. Sandles was arrested the following day at a Romulus hotel, where police say they found guns and cash stolen from the dealership. He faces additional charges related to weapons and robbery and has been denied bond. A drug charge was dropped, but may be pursued separately.
