Clinton Township agrees to pay over $1M to Priority Waste after trash pickup complaints

Clinton Township has agreed to pay more than $1 million in withheld payments to Priority Waste, following months of complaints from residents about late or missed trash pickups. In response to the delays, the township began withholding payment for each missed service, part of a provision of its contract with the company. Now, the Clinton Township Board of Trustees has agreed to pay back those withheld payments at a discounted rate of more than $1.1 million.
