Autumn Sun HBCU film festival brings next generation of Black storytellers to Detroit

Detroit will host the inaugural Autumn Sun HBCU Film Festival, a three-day event celebrating Black storytellers from HBCUs. Featuring 20 short films, the festival offers students a unique platform to showcase their work and compete for the Legacy Award, with events including a panel discussion at the Detroit Library and screenings at the Charles Wright Museum.
